The true narrators of Molfetta's soul are its churches. A magnificent work of art is the Duomo — the undisputed symbol of the town. Words alone cannot do justice to this gem: a remarkable example of Apulian Romanesque architecture, featuring domes on axis and crowned by a pair of elegant twin towers.
The Duomo was dedicated to Saint Corrado and built in the 12th century. Its most important walls have remained unchanged over the centuries, exuding a sense of solemnity and grandeur through the warm glow of its white stone, with its beautiful towers facing directly out to sea.
Alongside the Duomo, another place not to be missed is the Baroque Cathedral of the Assunta, as well as the churches of Saint Pietro, Saint Stefano, the Purgatory Church and the Church of Saint Domenico, where several canvases by Corrado Giaquinto are preserved.
Inside the Church of Saint Stefano, you can admire magnificent wooden statues, part of an ancient and deeply rooted tradition in Molfetta — carried through the streets in solemn procession during Holy Week, in the days leading up to Easter.
The itinerary can be beautifully concluded with a leisurely walk along the port. We highly recommend strolling along the quay at sunset or in the evening, catching the shimmering reflection of the Adriatic Sea and admiring the fishing boats — an experience not to be missed.

Passari Tower
Il Torrione Passari è una storica torre di avvistamento situata sulla costa di Molfetta. Costruito nel XVI secolo come parte delle fortificazioni costiere volute dagli spagnoli, il torrione ha svolto un ruolo fondamentale nella difesa della città contro gli attacchi dei pirati.
La torre è un esempio straordinario di architettura militare rinascimentale, con una struttura cilindrica imponente e mura possenti che si ergono sopra il mare.
Oggi, il Torrione Passari è avamposto per l’arte, è stato, infatti, restaurato e trasformato in uno spazio espositivo per mostre d'arte contemporanea ed eventi culturali.
È possibile salire fino alla sommità della torre e regalarsi vista mozzafiato sul porto e sul mare Adriatico..

Il Duomo di Molfetta, ufficialmente conosciuto come Cattedrale di San Corrado o Duomo Vecchio di San Corrado, è un esempio magnifico di architettura romanica pugliese. Il duomo presenta una facciata imponente in pietra calcarea bianca, con due torri campanarie che svettano verso il cielo e dominano il panorama cittadino.

La chiesa di Santo Stefano, sede dell’omonima Confraternita, si trova sulla via che costeggia il porto di Molfetta e sulla quale si snodano i principali monumenti della città. La sua facciata in stile rinascimentale, perfettamente incastonata tra i palazzi di Corso Dante, è caratterizzata da due cupole in asse e dal rivestimento maiolicato del piccolo e caratteristico campanile.
