Passari Tower

The Torrione Passari is a historic watchtower located on the coast of Molfetta. 

Built in the 16th century as part of the coastal fortifications commissioned by the Spanish, the tower played a key role in defending the town against pirate attacks. The tower is an outstanding example of Renaissance military architecture, with an imposing cylindrical structure and powerful walls rising above the sea.

Today, the Torrione Passari is an outpost for art: it has been restored and transformed into an exhibition space for contemporary art shows and cultural events. Visitors can climb to the top of the tower and enjoy a breathtaking view over the harbour and the Adriatic Sea.
