The cave church of Santa Geffa

Historic sites

Santa Geffa is an early Christian rock church located in the countryside of Trani. Since 1998, the site has been part of an archaeological park. Within the Parco di Santa Geffa is a teaching farm dedicated to promoting sustainable agriculture and environmental education. The farm offers a wide range of educational activities for schools and families, including organic farming workshops, traditional cooking courses and nature trails.

Visitors can take part in fruit and vegetable picking, learn how to make bread and get to know the farm animals. It is an ideal place for those wishing to enjoy an authentic experience in close contact with nature, discovering Apulian farming traditions and the importance of environmental sustainability.

The farm is also a research centre for the conservation of local biodiversity, making a significant contribution to safeguarding the territory and promoting its natural resources.
