Del Mare Museum

The Museo del Mare (Sea Museum)  celebrates the town's rich maritime tradition — once home to numerous master shipwrights — offering visitors a journey through the history of seafaring and local maritime life. 

Located near the harbour, in the evocative former ice house of the "Fabbrica di S. Domenico", the "Mostra Etnografica Permanente del Mare" (Permanent Ethnographic Exhibition of the Sea) houses a vast collection of maritime artefacts, including antique navigation instruments, ship models and traditional fishing equipment.
